After the silk factory, Greg and Bonnye asked if we wanted to try lunch at a world famous dumpling place? (How could a dumpling place be world famous?). As a matter of fact, Greg and Good morning Grandma went to a restaurant of the same chain in Seattle.
---sorry we can't control the order of the pictures--
Notice the street topiary we walked by. Green Elephants.
During our walk Greg showed us a government photo trick for when you don't have a tripod. A wife who is several inches shorter than you who is a willing partner.
This restaurant is in one of the best malls in Bangkok. The dumplings are made by "technicians" in what looks like a microelectronics clean room. Aside from amazing taste each is made to precise specifications, shape, and style. Dumplings usually go in soup, but these somehow had a teaspoon of soup inside each dumpling! Look at our happy faces and you see proof of how good it was.
Great. Now I want dumpllings. Airmail, please.
